Sunday Sundries: He is The Creator, Savior, and Son

I’ve noticed my Sunday Sundries series isn’t the most popular with you fellow bloggers and lovers. Why is that??

I urge you, take 2 minutes, they are very short and delicious!

You can learn a lot about a person’s worldview by asking, “Who is Jesus?” In the passage below “the Word” is unmistakably Jesus. Now grasp the magnitude of this meaning!!

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

‭‭John‬ ‭1:1-5, 14‬ ‭NIV‬‬ http://bible.com/111/jhn.1.1-5,14.niv

  1. Why is that?? I believe it’s because people fear God and abstain from thoughts of mortality. One of my favorite reads has the subsequent passage… “The fear of God is an attitude of respect, a response of reverence & wonder. It is the only appropriate response to our Creator & Redeemer” (forgot where I found it)

Brïdgêtté “…just thinking she know it all.”👼

  2. It could also be because people don’t want to acknowledge there is a God. Because if they do – they need a response, so to ignore it is easier. Lucky God loves us regardless of our feelings towards him. It’s just a shame so many of us were brought up on hell and fire rather than the sacrifice and love of a God who loves us more than we can imagine. I’ll stop now 🙂
